ActUpon
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 12, 2026. This policy describes how ActUpon handles personal information across its hosted web app and native clients.
What ActUpon collects
ActUpon stores the content you intentionally submit, such as shared images, voice notes, transcripts, notes, tags, workflow metadata, and destination selections. We also store the account and session information needed to authenticate you and keep the app working across web, Android, iOS, and desktop surfaces.
How ActUpon uses data
We use submitted content to process captures, generate structured summaries, route items to your configured destinations, power history and retrieval, and improve reliability of the service. Voice recordings are used to produce transcripts and to make your original recording available back to you where supported.
Third-party services
ActUpon uses infrastructure and integration providers such as hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, and connected workflow destinations. When you configure a destination like Notion, Todoist, Linear, GitHub, or similar services, the relevant capture data is sent to that destination at your request.
Notifications and device permissions
On Android, ActUpon may request microphone access for recording voice notes and notification permission for reminders or workflow status updates. These permissions are optional at the operating-system level, but some features will not work without them.
Data retention and control
You can review and manage your captures through ActUpon surfaces. Some connected destinations may retain copies of data you send to them under their own policies. If you need account or data deletion support, contact us using the address below.
